
Ana Clara
La carrera de una bailarina
Ana Clara Migoni started dancing at the young age of 6 years old and until the age of 12 she was a ballet dancer at the Colon Theatre.
In 1996 Ana Clara took part in a international ballet competition that took place at the Alicia Alonzo theatre in Havana, Cuba and ended up winning the before mentioned competition.
She has trained in many different disciplines and has practiced pilates, contact dancing, contemporary dancing, etc.
She’s always been interested in body language and went to college to study choreographic composition in dancing and theatre.
Before she started dancing tango she had already expressed interest in Flamenco, the Spanish dance, and she dedicated most of her time to this for approximately 6 years.
In 2013 was when she got introduced to Tango, through her mother, who was the artistic director of "Caño 14”, one of the most popular tango venues in Buenos Aires’s history.
This was for her the very first and most important contact with tango music and tango dancing.
In 2014 she got a 4 months scholarship at DNI Tango in Buenos Aires to study and reasearch Tango dancing and technique with Dana Frigoli.
In 2015 she meets Luis Romero Berruti, her current partner.
Since then they have been studying, rehearsing, performing and teaching in Buenos Aires and have taken part in several tango competitions.
In 2015 they took the 4th place in the Metropolitano Tango competition, in “Tango Pista” and in 2016 they took the 2nd place, again in “Tango Pista”.
Their were finalists in 2014 and 2016 in the Mundial de Tango that takes place in Buenos Aires every year. In 2017 they made their first European Tour,
travelling around Europe to teach and perform in Leipzig, Berlin, Paris, Rome among other cities. Also that same year, they obtained the third place in the tango world championship.
She danced 7 months pregnant!
Their teachers are Sabrina and Ruben Veliz, Pablo Giorgini and Noelia Coletti, Facundo Piñero and Vanessa Villalba and Horacio Godoy, among many teachers.
they gave classes in the "Estudio Mario Morales"in Buenos Aires, Fundacion de Tango Argentino y Dante Sanchez Estudio.
